Other Products ![]() Rosado Slings for kids are great play things. We make a miniature Rosado Sling for all those kids who want to practice being just like mommy and daddy. Indicate size and age of child on the order form and then color preferences like the adults do. I have usually got a few matched sets so the slings will look almost the same. Some kids have much wilder taste in fabric than the adults in their lives. Call we will find just the right thing for your parent in training. Kabuki Carrier In Asia and Africa babies are carried also. The Kabuki Carrier is a hybrid of some of these carriers. It is a wrap around style that lends itself to long hours of comfort and well distributed weight. Many families have one for the variety and security of having the baby tightly encapsulated to your body. I have used this for push mowing my yard. Other mothers have used it for cooking since the baby can be placed on back. I have photos and drawings here This is my son at 11 weeks and the older baby belongs to a client. The main idea is to hold the baby to you with the padded center of the cloth. Wrap one end around your body and over the baby from head to seat, Tuck the fabric tight under her leg then wrap the other end around your body and across the baby from head to seat to form an X of fabric. Tuck it under the leg and pull both of them through to the opposite side from the baby and tie in a half bow. There will be a horizontal layer of fabric, step 1, then an X on you, step 2, and an X on the baby and finally a knot of some sort....you determine what you can undo after use. The drawings show the baby on the front but you can switch things around and put them on the back as well. I have found this takes practice and a little help to start with while you and your baby get use to balancing and wrapping. Watching women from Africa swing their babies over their shoulder and whip on the carrier is an awe inspiring sight.
