Other positions
Over the years I have met parents who have found the most unusual ways of making their babies happy. My last child liked to look at the world upside down and would hang out of his sling backwards...much to the dismay of older women at the supermarket. I found a way to anchor his seat and keep him from falling and I could feel if he was having trouble getting back up right. Some babies only want to stand others want to be able to nurse as you walk around. What ever it is keep safety in your mind. I haven't met any babies who are happy when they hurt. Riding on the back is a pretty safe and easy way to get things done in front of you that baby shouldn't help with. Start in the hip sit position setting the baby toward the back almost under your arm. Lift your arm and rotate it over the baby and to the front of him. With the arm in front turn your hand to lift up the bottom of the baby at the same time pull on the rings and tail so the whole pillow section moves to the front. You will need to experiment about where to place the rings in relation to your breasts. Some mom's put the ring in the center or under one and over the other we don't have photos now but we may soon. Send them if you have them...we will be putting up a happy baby page so other families can see all the neat ways you have learned to use your Rosado Sling for infants & toddlers.
