Northwest Attachment Parenting - http://www.nw-ap.org Providing information and support to parents in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. NAP is a non-profit organization providing support and information for persons practicing attachment style parenting. They encourage parents to trust their instincts, and respond sensitively to their babies, that they may learn to feel comfortable making intuitive choices for their children. They have support groups that form and bond lasting a minimum of 1 year (many haven't stopped). You would meet with your group weekly and cover a group of seven or eight basic attachment tools then move on to a group of topics that the group finds interesting. A quarterly newsletter, Kangaroo Kids is available by subscription and there is a web site with out of print back issues. Kangaroo Kids is also available in Braille.
